Dedication

I’d like to dedicate this book to my father, who passed on December 23, 2025. I plan on releasing this book on Father’s Day, 2026, which will be my first without him.

You’ll notice, if you’ve read my memoir and Metabill, that I’m able to draw references from all sorts of media: movies, plays, ballet, opera, and music. This was one of many gifts my father gave to me. As a child, he took me pretty much everywhere. I would try to expand that here, but the books themselves show you the depth and breadth of what he wanted to show me.

So, thank you, dad. I miss you.
