Thunder Bay Ep2
Ch_005_050: Thunder Bay, Ontario
I open my eyes and am grateful to be alive and not running. I get up from the cushion Monty left on the floor for me in the kitchen. The jerky jars, milkbone jugs, cheddar cheese wheels, and assorted bags of dried rodents layer a funky, inhuman, and earthy musk into the air that I believe I can use for sustenance instead of eating. Fortunately, my body seems constantly fed by pure adrenaline and panic. Let’s see how the audience looks.

WHAT? I’m down eyeballs?
I hear, ||What’s that, girl? Timmy is down a mine shaft?|| I look out and see the other container. The eyeballs are packed around it.

If that’s the same Timmy I saved a few days back, I think Timmy is a fucking moron? I have high drama going over here and blondo is scoring with the same damn story as mine?! What is wrong with the world?
I need to find something more compelling than good hair. What is it? What? Ugh. Well, let me try something wild.
“Hi, everyone! It’s the Littlest Hobo on my most important mission. I’m here to kill the magistrate’s child!” I say to the eyes. They all widen. Several come closer.

Mastereye’s internal voice overwhelms all my senses and says, “This is a risky improvisation, London. Are you sure?”
No, I’m not sure of anything, but I need something to counter the hair, I think to myself.
I listen carefully. I hear the puppies whimpering downstairs.
“Are you all ready for some real fun?” I say directly to the eyes.

Mastereye pulls down the lights as the work is done in darkness. Nobody can see, but as the lights come up, I am carefully cleaning a sharp knife and my hands.

“Let’s clean up after ourselves, but nobody would expect a human, would they? So, I can solve all sorts of problems without any help from a dog. The Hobo is unchained now,” I say to the group.

“Where should we go next, friends? Maybe close to where you live?” I say with a smile. Mastereye shudders into my skull and notes, “Nice recovery. I think you should direct the next episode?”

As I walk from Monty’s house and out towards the main road, I say, “I am heading to Wawa. I wonder if they know what is coming now that I write the stories.” The road ahead is dark and I run straight at it.
